The Header

The Header has links to all of the main sections of the store as follows: E-mail Support, Delivery Policy, Weekly Specials, Main Shopping Index, Personal Quick List, and View Cart

E-mail Support

Clicking here brings up your current default mail program ready to send a message to the E-Zgrocer.com  support team.  Please supply a subject line and describe your problem and/or suggestion in as much detail as you can, and the E-Zgrocer.com support staff will reply as soon as possilbe.

Delivery Policy

Clicking here takes you to a page describing the delivery policy in detail - including times of delivery, days delivery is available, and a map of areas that are serviced.

Weekly Specials

This page shows a few selected "Sales" available for the current week. 
Under each Item, you can choose "Go to Shelf" or "Go to Item".  
"Go to Shelf" takes you to the section where the product is found, allowing you to make comparisons before adding the product to your cart.  
"Go to Item" takes you directly to the specific product to add to your cart.

The Main Shopping Index

The Main Shopping Index is the only place in the store where you can view all items.   Much like the conventional grocery stores, everything is arranged in departments, aisles, and shelves.  Unlike conventional grocery stores however, you can always see the signs and always know what department you are in.

These are the departments as they appear when you first enter the site.  You may select any one of these departments to see all the aisles in this department.

As you can see any time you click on a department, you will see all aisles that are in the department.  At any time you may click another department to open the aisles for that department, or click on an aisle to see the shelves for that aisle.

Now we can see all the shelves associated with that aisle.  We can also select a new aisle, or department.  From here we can click a shelf to comparatively shop within this shelf.  The only columns shown are ones you have selected.  You can always tell which department and aisle you are currently in as they are in black and you can always click on a different department or aisle from anywhere without having to go back.  In the example above, you are in the Canned aisle of the Groceries department.  Once you select a shelf, you are taken to the Product Listing for that shelf.

The Footer:

The footer contains all of the items in The Header along with the Search box.  This is the friendly attendant you ask for those hard to find items like toothpicks and coconut extract.  Just type what you're looking for in the box and click submit.  In just a few seconds you will be presented with a Product List containing all items that had the words you chose in it's description.  You can even search for a specific UPC code from the product just by typing it in.
